NCAA Basketball 09

Ncaa basketball 09 is a very fun game. It includes features like the rival challenge which sets you up in a game with people that favorite teams are the rivals of yours, and instead of loading screens you get to play as Kevin love shooting hoops, and the game tempo feature forces you to play your style of tempo to get quality shots and playing your tempo gives your team a slight edge. I originally bought this game because there is no 2k sports college hoops game, and this game is still behind college hoops, but its a good game that's worth playing. The only problem I have with the game is that there isn't much skill required to shoot. There is no timing, the ratings determine whether the shot will go down. I give this game an 8\10

NBA 2k9

For those of you who enjoyed NBA 2k8, you will probably also have fun with 2k9. 2k9 features some cool new things along with fixing some glitches from 2k8, just basically making it an overall more well rounded game.
Features: Some new features include the living roster, and new online play. The living roster is really cool. Unlike live 09, 2k does not update its roster after every game. It looks at averages and injuries of 3 or 4 weeks and updates the players with "boosts" or "downgrades" based on how they've been playing. Some new online play includes a pretty interesting mode where it is 5 on 5, 10 people playing at the same time. You randomly get assigned a team and player and get graded on your teamwork.

Overall the 2k9 game again outshines its competitors with gameplay, features, and graphics. 4.5/5

New Band

I know this isnt about vidoe games, but if your looking for some great music, you should try out this new artist. The name is kind of weird, "Girl Talk" but the music is awesome. It's a dj who combines tons of songs together to make one. It's really good pump up your team kind of music and i listen to it before any sporting event.

Madden 09

Along with NCAA, the Madden franchise also came out with this years game. This years madden is really cool and has sick graphics (HD even better). Madden has a new feature where you take a test to determine your skill level and difficulty settings. This is cool because it updates after every game and the CPU gives you a challenge when you play franchise. This game is also fun to play on Xbox Live. Overall the new Madden doesn't have too many new features but has a much improved game play and difficulty settings. If you are a madden fan then you should pick this up.

How to get the roster update for Madden 09

To get the roster update you need to have a live acount and connection to the internet. You go to Xbox Live and then start a game with somebody (using quickplay or however else you start one). Then it will ask you to download the roster now and you accept and it will download it and save it to your memory device. The roster includes Brett Favre on the Jets, Lamont Jordan on the Pats, and other roster changes and retired players. However there are some players that still are not on the right team. Mostly free agents such as Chad Penington is on free agents instead of the Dolphins.
